Abstract: 

Introduction: Academic faculty members need to emphasize ethical principles in order to improve higher education, with the understanding of this importance, the current research was conducted with the aim of designing the ethical model of academic faculty members in Iran's higher education. Material & Methods: This research is a type of qualitative study that uses foundational data theory. The participants, including experts and faculty members of the country's public universities, who were responsible for the promotion of academic members, were selected as key informants through a targeted sampling method of 45 people. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The reliability and validity of the data were obtained from the two methods of reviewing the participants and recoding by experts. Data were analyzed by open, central and selective coding. Results: The results showed that the moral model of faculty members in Iran's higher education is explained in 10 main categories and 27 subcategories. Major and core categories in the form of 6 dimensions of causal conditions including (individual factors, organizational factors), core (cultural-educational, educational ethics, research ethics, scientific-executive), background conditions (higher education policies, moral activism), intervening conditions (environmental factors), strategies (micro level-university, macro level-higher education) and consequences (individual and organizational) were elevated to a higher abstract level and finally the research paradigm model was presented. Conclusion: The regulations for the promotion of academic staff members in Iran require a detailed revision of the content with an ethical and qualitative approach in order to make the indicators of the promotion regulations efficient and effective.

Abstract: 

In order to identify a model for knowledge management in research centers performance promotion, after studying the literature, it was so clarified that there are three basic views regarding knowledge management and its position in organizations. One view looks upon knowledge management concept as such concepts as change management and transformation management in the organization. The second view believing that in each department of the organizations, the information management concept and position have been defined, it can be replaced by knowledge management. The third view looks upon the knowledge management concept from the systemic and strategic viewpoint. In this research, the researcher's view to the knowledge management concept is of the third view and on same basis, the conceptual model of research has been designed and suggested. The main theory of research has been so defined as: Alignment among knowledge strategies, knowledge production and development, knowledge transfer and knowledge application in research centers, leads to their performance promotion. To experiment this theory, the sample representing the statistical society selected, a questionnaire was designed and, after its validity and reliability tests, was distributed among the research centers of the target statistical society. After distribution and collection of the questionnaires, the quantitative data were statistically analyzed by SPSS software. The qualitative data were analyzed via content analysis method, and quantitatively coordinated by index definition. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted. The final results of both quantitative and qualitative analysis approved the main theory set forth in research.

با این که مفهوم بهره وری همیشه مورد بحث بوده، اما اغلب در آن ابهام وجود داشته و درک آن مشکل بوده است. در عمل، این همان فقدان دانشی است که نتیجه نادیده گرفته شدن نفوذ بهره وری در فرآیندهای تولیدی توسط برخی می باشد. هدف از این مقاله بحث در مورد معنی اصلی بهره وری و همچنین ارتباط آن با واژه های مشابه دیگر است که می تواند در مباحث تعاون نیز بکار برده شود. یافته ها نتیجه بررسی بهره وری بر اساس ادبیات دهه گذشته می باشد. مقاله توضیح می دهد که چگونه محققان ابهام مفهوم بهره وری را توضیح داده و یک واژه شناسی جدید برای آن ارائه می نمایند.

Abstract: 

This research aims to examine the relationship of corporate social responsibility with organizational performance by considering the mediating roles of competitive advantage, corporate fame and customer satisfaction in food companies located in the northern Iranian city of Amol in year 2015. It is a descriptive-survey research conducted on 196 executive managers of food companies in the city of Amol selected as the study sample through random cluster sampling. A questionnaire is used to collect the data, and the SEM technique based on covariance (Lisrel v. 8. 8) serves to analyze the data. The research findings show that the construct of competitive advantage has the strongest relationship with organizational performance as compared to the constructs of corporate fame and customer satisfaction. This is while corporate social responsibility has the greatest effect on customer satisfaction based on the structural model. Also, the constructs of corporate fame and competitive advantage are found to have insignificant effects on the promotion of organizational performance and, consequently, on customer satisfaction. These findings provide managers with deep insights into the factors that create and reinforce organizational performance in stagnant economy by improving the indexes of corporate social responsibility.

Abstract: 

Introduction: One of the most prominent functions of human resources management in the education system is the training of capable teachers and employees, direction; Change, transformation and organizational development. In this regard, the current research was conducted with the aim of introducing the empowerment model of education and training staff, based on the performance promotion approach. Methods: In terms of the goal, this research is an applied with a qualitative approach to the Grounded Theory method. with the non-random purposeful samplingmethod, 20 experts and specialists of the organization until the theoretical saturation is reached. Data, selection and during semi-structured interview, data was collected and analyzed through three stages coding  and continuous comparison with Grounded Theory method. Results: Paradigm model with six main categories; Effective control and empoerment of human resourcesimprovement of organizational culture, system dynamics, organizational interactions and promotion of performance with 26 sub-categories were obtained through data analysis and their validity was confirmed.                                           Conclusion: After the analysis of the data and the final approval of the categories by the experts, the research model was drawn and the results showed that it has the necessary validity for application to empower the employees and teachers of education in order to performance promotion.

Abstract: 

Objective(s): The NGOs act as a potential system for public health promotion. These voluntary organizations are non-profitable and independent from state (self-governing), but serving people. In this way they are called public voice. The NGOs are considered to be the symbol and intermediary of public contribution; while public contribution is a main branch of health promotion, poverty and inequity decline in public health. This study was carried out to review the role and operation of Iranian NGOs in provision, maintenance and promotion of public health in order to design an interaction model of the NGOs with health sector trustees in the state.Methods: Of 10000 registered NGOs in Iran with interest in health, 1000 NGOs were chosen. Of these 97 NGOs were selected as the study sample. Data were collected through random selection from all provinces using a questionnaire by 9 trained examiners.Results: The results obtained from analysis in function and capacity showed that NGOs knew needs of target group but in most cases discovering these needs has been based on the group meetings or founding board ideas and hardly followed scientific principles of assessment. Most NGOS offered third level prevention care. Most NGOs believed that success in training and providing health care, prevention and advisory interventions were more satisfactory than working governmental sectors (working with the state, participation in jurisdictional and legal trend).Conclusion: The result while revealing capabilities of NGOs to deliver educational and advisory services, warns the public sector decision makers (the state) that inexploiting the potential capacity of those systems retards developing process of the country.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The goal of the present study was to assess the performance of the breast-feeding promotion project in Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad province.Methods: performance of delivery wards in hospitals affiliated with the University of Medical Sciences and with the National Oil Company of Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad province was assessed in terms of practicing the ten steps recommended by World Health Organization and United Nations Children's Fund. Ten percent of the mothers who had delivered a child within one month before the time of study conduct (n = 43) and 30% of the delivery wards' personnel (n=137) were selected to participate in the study. Data was collected via observation, interviews, and review of the documentations. The performance of hospitals was calculated based on the percentage of the total expected score, and a score of 90% or above was considered as the acceptable level of performance.Results: The mean percentage (and standard deviation) of performance scores were 77.42 (and 33.19) for the Oil Company's hospital, 69.64 (and 27.68) for Imam Sajjad hospital, 67.5 (and 32.1) for Imam Khomeini hospital, and 62.97 (and 37.99) for Shahid Rajaei hospital (in decreasing order). These findings show that the hospitals were in a relatively weak position in regard with implementation of the project Conclusion: performance of the baby-friendly hospitals in promotion of breast-feeding behavior of mothers is weak.

Abstract: 

Background and Aims: Cancer occurs when cells divide uncontrollably. These abnormal cells can invade nearby tissues or travel to distant sites by entering the bloodstream or lymphatic system. Incidence rate of cancer during the last 50 years has increased constantly. Nutrition, physical activity and hope are important factors in cancer. However, patients do not have correct knowledge and proper attitude regarding these important factors.The aim of this study is performance assessment of basnef model in health promotion for pations with cancer in Sanandaj city.Material & Methods: This study is a randomized controlled trial. Knowledge and attitude questionnaires in basnef model and HHI questionnaire was completed before and after intervention in two case and control groups (n: 50) and knowledge and attitude questionnaire in patients family in two case and control groups (n: 50). The educational and promotional intervention for patients and their families in case groups as a face to face method and individually with PBL method was accomplished. Data was analyzed by use of spss and Chi-square tests and covariance analysis.Results: The mean score for knowledge in case group patients was significantly more than controls group (P<o.ooo). Intervention also resulted in better attitude in case group patient (P<0.000). A significant difference was not found in subjective norms mean score (P<0.12) and enabling factors (P<0.08) in two groups. The hope mean scores in case group patients was significantly more than control group (P<0.008). The knowledge mean scores also in family case group was more than control group family (P<0.001) and intervention resulted in better attitude situation in case group family (P<0.000).Conclusions: Educational intervention is effective in increasing knowledge and improvement of attitude and also promotion of hope in cancer patients and their families. So preper educational methods (e.g. PBL), with active participation of patients and families to promote quality of life is recommended.
